As a seasoned traveler who has frequented numerous boutique hotels in Berlin, I must commend Hotel Merle for its exceptional ability to surpass even my lofty standards. The off-the-main-road location, perfectly situated next to the locks, provided a mesmerizing view of passing boats right from my room-a captivating touch that elevated my stay. While the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, the quality of the cuisine in the restaurant more than made up for it, tantalizing my taste buds with each dish. Parking facilities were ample, ensuring a hassle-free experience for guests arriving by car.
